Electrotonic, a thrilling new EDM orchestra, is debuting its distinctive sound on Saturday June 22nd at Sugar Studios, a unique North Greenwich venue that led a former life as a sugar factory. Featuring four photo studios and events spaces, Sugar Studios “Big Space” will host the EDM-orchestra’s debut, as epic proportions are the only suitable size for an event like this.
Featuring brass, strings, a DJ and a rhythm section, Electrotonic is set to get bodies bopping to tunes from across the EDM spectrum, including tracks from the likes of The Chainsmokers, Wolfgang Gartner, Infected Mushroom, Benny Benassi and many more.
The visionary behind this electrifying project is drummer/percussionist James Gambold. His passion and dedication to this idea, nurtured over fifteen months, won the support of numerous investors who recognised the potential of this unique musical venture.
James said, “I came across so many amazing tracks on my path to this orchestra. It’s been tough to whittle it down to just twenty. Everyone on stage is integral to the music, we’ve spent the last 8 months fine-tuning everything.”
Following its launch at Sugar Studios, Electrotonic hopes to take the event to festival stages and overseas. James added, “We’d dearly love the support of music fans coming to see us. “It’s been a long time getting to this point and we’re absolutely ready to share our passion.”
If you’ve been looking for something new in a city that seems to have it all, Electrotronic brings the fun to Sugar Studios on the 22nd of June. Doors open at 18:30 with the performance starting at 19:45. Tickets are available via Skiddle.
