Eleven Of July kicks off the final quarter of 2024 with the new EP “Recollection“, released on his own BrokenHearted imprint.
Following a year of successes like the spring EP “Avadavat” and the summer project “Thinner,” Augusto Proto, aka Eleven Of July, continues his ascent in the melodic techno universe with a release that blends innovation and impact.
The title track “Recollection” opens the EP with a dynamic progression crafted for the dancefloor, driven by pounding grooves, futuristic vocal stabs, and spectral overlays. Moments of calm before the break amplify the explosive drop, delivering an energetic rush designed to conquer clubs worldwide. Sci-fi-inspired vocal narratives and pyrotechnic stabs strike a balance between emotional depth and rhythmic power, making the track a perfect blend of cinematic and functional.
“Wild Embrace” brings out a more emotive and prophetic side with hypnotic synths and pulsating stabs, creating a dystopian yet captivating atmosphere. The track reaches its peak with a central break, weaving cerebral manipulations and festival-sized riffs into a climax that fuses dystopian romance and sonic tension.
Closing the EP in style, it underscores Eleven Of July’s ability to balance exploration with dancefloor appeal. “Recollection” reaffirms the artist’s position as a leader in the melodic techno scene, with every track standing as a statement of intent: innovation, meticulous attention to detail, and emotional resonance.
This release is poised to become one of the musical highlights of the year.
