KLP - Ember

Kristy Lee Peters, aka KLP, one of Australia’s premier female producers/musicians, releases her EP 'Ember' today, featuring the lead single of the same name.  Co-inciding with the EP release is the striking ‘Ember’ music video, featuring KLP and dancers in a stunning sequence that is the perfect accompaniment to the song.

'Ember', co-written and co-produced with M-Phazes (Meg Mac, Illly, Thelma Plum, Daniel Johns, Allday) and Jason Gilbert, is a song written about the constant push and pull of a relationship and how without a middle meeting point it can all combust.

'Ember' the EP has been a long time in the making amongst a heavy touring schedule for KLP. Teaming up with co-writers and producers such as Julian Hamilton (The Presets), Andy Mak (Vera Blue), Thom Mack (Vera Blue), Nate Donmoyer (Passion Pit), Mereki (A-Trak, Sky Ferreira, Goldroom), Cassian (Rufus, Hayden James) and Sachi (Diplo approved NZ buzz act), 'Ember' is six tracks of soaring beats and heady vocals from the Sydney based musician.

Following an incredibly successful 12 months with two national DJ tours as well as a national tour with Art vs Science, KLP continues to prove her success as a multi-talented artist.

Last year saw the release of KLP’s REMI-featuring party anthem ‘Recover’, which received a star-studded video of cameos from the likes of Peking Duk, Art Vs. Science, Alex Dyson, Jess Kent, Set Mo, and more. Not to mention KLP’s second collaboration with What So Not as a co-writer and vocalist on the track, Death Drive from the electronic act’s much-loved ‘Gemini EP’. KLP is also featured on the illusive upcoming What So Not and Skrillex release 'Goh', which has been teased at Skrillex's huge festival tours.

When not writing music, planning national tours or being a highly acclaimed DJ, KLP also hosts triple j House Party.

‘EMBER’ was released today on EMI Music Australia and is now streaming via Spotify and Apple Music.
