Entison, the mesmerizing indie singer/songwriter, is set to unveil his latest auditory journey, the “Indigo EP,” under the People of the Light (POTL) sub-label, POTL Noir. This is his second outing on POTL after his other release Skywalk under his real name Nathan Thomas. Set to release exclusively on Beatport 29th February, and on all outlets 13th of March. Known for his previous hits on the legendary label Defected, Entison now delves into a more introspective and artistically rich terrain with “Indigo.”
The EP features three tracks: the original version of “Indigo,” alongside two distinct remixes by label head Jay Hill – the “Sunrise Mix” and the “Midnight Mix.” These tracks echo the ambient, downtempo rhythms reminiscent of artists like Ry X and Howling, yet with Entison’s unique flair. The original mix of “Indigo” presents a serene cinematic soundscape, interwoven with Entison’s hauntingly beautiful vocals. The Jay Hill Sunrise Mix offers a gentle awakening, infusing the original with a brighter, more uplifting energy. Contrastingly, the Jay Hill Midnight Mix takes listeners on a more club-fit form, a more introspective journey, perfect for reflective, late-nights.
In the words of Jay Hill “I am so deeply honoured to present this unique sonic journey, Entison’s Indigo on POTL Noir. Our first release of 2024 ~ this special project came together as a culmination through many months of work, perseverance, and preparations. . . it was a true joy for me to work with the Nathan again, these remixes stretched and challenged me in beautiful ways, I’ve grown significantly from this release. . . hope you enjoy it as much as we do. If your heart’s are so inclined, please follow us on IG @wearepotl, we will be presenting originally shot/produced music videos to accompany this release”. . . x Jay
