Envi Jordan releases emotive new synth-led pop-pounder ‘Somebody To Love’
Having steadily built momentum since his debut last year, Envi Jordan continues to carve out his space with confidence and clarity. The Caribbean-American artist, now based in Seattle, returns with ‘Somebody To Love’, the latest glimpse into his forthcoming debut album ‘Envi’, further cementing his growing global reach.
Driven by buoyant basslines and an undercurrent of emotional urgency, ‘Somebody To Love’ lands with a vibrant, dance-pop pulse. There is a rawness beneath its polished surface, where soaring hooks and anthemic rises meet a deeper sense of vulnerability.
The track’s energy feels designed for movement, yet its core remains rooted in personal expression, giving it a lasting resonance beyond the dancefloor. That sense of expression extends into the accompanying visual, where choreography and narrative intertwine to explore themes of self-worth and release, presenting Jordan as a fully realised, multi-faceted creative talent.
Speaking about the wider project, Jordan shares, “‘Somebody to Love’ also received my first music video. It felt great to explore a new medium of creation and express myself in that way… expanding the universe of the song with a visual element. I also express myself in dance with the choreography I created, and embolden that with more writing, a spoken word piece at the beginning of the video. As a whole, the ‘Somebody to Love’ project has been cathartic. I definitely look forward to making more music videos in the future.”
