Esteban Adame – Brown Dream EP

Los Angeles based DJ and Underground Resistance affiliate, Esteban Adame readied the 10th release for ICAN (the label he runs in tandem with like-minded producer, Santiago Salazar) in the spring of this year.  Only released on vinyl at the time, ‘Brown Dream’ now gets a digital release on the 9th of December.
 
The ‘Brown Dream EP’ consists of three tight and concise Techno tunes, kicking off with the resonant title track and ending with the melodic Techno of ‘Here First’.  Sandwiched between them is the dubbed-out ‘Assimilation’.  Starting off mellow, the track leans on a bed of lush keyboards until an organ solo halfway through pushes the track gently onto the dancefloor, sounding both alien and irresistibly playful at the same time.
 
‘Brown Dream’ was the follow-up release to last year’s ‘Determination EP’, and finds Adame’s palette continuing to progress nicely as his output increases with his ‘Cause & Effect EP’, which followed this September.
