Esteban Adame – Cause & Effect EP

Esteban Adame is a part of the new wave of artists emerging from the Los Angeles underground scene.  After releasing material on Planet E, Esteban partnered up with long time friend and colleague Santiago Salazar to start ICAN Productions.  In addition, Esteban is an active member of the Underground Resistance Live act Galaxy to Galaxy who have performed all over the world including Liquid Room (Tokyo), Berghain (Berlin), Loft (Barcelona) and Fabric (London).  Esteban has also released solo works on Underground Quality, Modelhart, and has various remixes to his credit.

This latest EP comprises three tracks to keep things moving during the fall months.  ‘Cause’ is a bass heavy gem that kicks off with an ostinato synth line up front.  As the track progresses, a floating melody creeps its way in, breaking that repetitious line.

‘Effect’ is Adame’s interpretation of Chicago Jack tracks.  Also bottom heavy and very aggressive with the synth work, this is definitely a peak time track.

Rounding off the EP is ‘Repercussion’, a dark, almost sterile track leaning heavily on the techno side, great for the early AM hours.
