Talented electronic producer PLEEG released his latest dynamic single ‘Still Friends’ on the 8th of February via Quality Goods Records. The intricate track was premiered on Run The Trap and follows his 2022 collaboration with USA producer Eyezic, titled ‘Dead Weight’. The rising producer has been featured by a number of recognised music publications such as This Song Is Sick, EDM Identity, Prelude Press, FUXWITHIT, Acid Stag, and Let The Bass Get To You. Having reached over 7 million streams across platforms, his music has previously appeared on the well-known YouTube channel and record label NoCopyrightSounds as well as the Japanese channel Waifu Wednesdays among others.
Touching on themes of human connection, PLEEG’s latest record ‘Still Friends’ is a vibrant and heartfelt anthem. Complete with PLEEG’s distinctive signature sample cuts and crisp sound design, it is an all-encompassing composition, covered in layers of complexity and quick-changing arrangements. Pleasantly unpredictable, the result is a refreshing colouration of modulated synths, emotive vocals, and soothing guitar breakdowns that, as a whole, set an uplifting mood.
Originating from Paris, France, Pierre Garnier, known as PLEEG, has been producing Electronic music since 2017, transitioning away from J-pop to create complex works that evoke happy feelings. He has previously released music under labels NCS, Bitbird, Never Say Die Records, and Rushdown and gained support from prominent artists like UZ, PV Nova, Chime, Pandrezz, Hyper Potions, and Fox Stevenson. Pierre cites San Holo, Porter Robinson, Illenium, Flume, and What So Not as his influences, while his music is comparable to acts like Kaskade, Justin Caruso, and Felix Cartal.
