Elros - Exclusive Premier: Elros – Invicta

Puerto Rican DJ and producer Elros is back again after a period of halt and he’s ready to unleash all the energy he’s been holding back. 2015 might be the big year for the Orocovis based artist and he’s kicking it off by presenting his fresh project entitled ‘Invicta’, of which we’re very glad to get an exclusive first listen.
 
Having started out as a musician, learning the ropes of piano playing at the Conservatory of Puerto Rico, Elros has quickly fallen in love with Dance music. Inspired by the likes of Tiesto, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and extending his inspirations outside of EDM with: Hans Zimmer and Brian Tyler, he has hit the electronic music world with a unique musical vision.
 
His signature style is characterised by simple sounds, contrasting melodies and chord progressions, whilst adding the typical epic feel found in soundtracks. After some years working as a ghost producer, Edgardo Rubero, better known as Elros is now introducing himself to the world with ‘Invicta’, which we have the pleasure to premiere here at iHouseu.
 
‘Invicta’ gets started with a powerful drum beat and phasing melodic elements whilst building up momentum, resolving into a massive breakdown. A mellower, leftfield section takes over, introducing Elros’ magnificent melody writing talents. The atmosphere is pumped up with heavier synths, bursting into a euphoric chorus, featuring an array of diverse effects to spice it up. The single heads into a highly-original, dreamy breakdown before ascending once more, boasting Elros’ forceful EDM style lead section. Perfect dynamic control and carefully planned song sectioning drive ‘Invicta’ forward before ending with a softer conclusion.
