After a seven-year hiatus, label boss Eddy Romero and Argentinian producer Juan Zolbaran have reunited for the highly anticipated “House Tales EP.” This release is a captivating blend of their unique musical worlds, featuring three original tracks that journey from Dub Minimal to Deep House, enriched with psychedelic sounds and groovy rhythms.
The EP opens with the title track “House Tales (Original Mix),” a masterful composition that seamlessly fuses deep, dubby basslines with intricate minimalistic elements, creating an immersive auditory experience. Following this, “Theme 4 (Original Mix)” takes the listener on a melodic journey, characterized by its emotive harmonies and driving beats that reflect the duo’s refined production skills. “Dub Momento (Original Mix)” closes the trio of original tracks with its hypnotic grooves and subtle, yet compelling, dub influences.
Adding to the allure of the EP are two outstanding remixes. The first is by the celebrated underground house artist Camiel Daamen, whose reinterpretation of “House Tales” brings a fresh narrative to the track. His “Different Story Remix” retains the original’s essence while injecting it with his distinctive underground flair, making it a must-listen for house aficionados. The second remix is by Romanian Deep House maestro Rhadow, known for his chart-topping remix on the label that dominated Beatport charts for over three months. Rhadow’s remix of “Theme 4” transforms it into a summer anthem, with enchanting melodies and a pulsating rhythm that will captivate listeners and ignite dance floors.
Set to release this June, “House Tales EP” promises to be a standout release for the season.
