Outcross - Expose

Releasing their slick new deep house production titled ‘Exposé’, Miguel Campbell, Iain O’Hare, and Matt Hughes team up under their new monikerOutcross, with their sultry release set to drop on 5th January 2018 viaOutcross Records.

Utilising a deep, 122 BPM rhythm, ‘Exposé’ utilises the hip-swaying groovesMiguel Campbell has rubber-stamped as signature sound during a career spanning over two decades. A silky smooth house anthem soaked in pulsating beats, ‘Exposé’ showcases the Outcross trio at their finest, highlighting the influences of Miguel, Iain, and Matt, respectively.

Having enjoyed a fruitful double-decade career, Leeds-born producer Miguel Campbell has released an accolade of releases on prolific labels including No. 19 Music, Soul Clap’s Wolf + Lamb and most notably, Hot Creations, through which he showcased the timeless ‘Something Special’ since making his mark on the house scene in the early 90s.

For over a decade, Matt has been producing music, combining elements of funk, disco and house. Using collections of hardware and electronic components assembled in a discreet way, he creates a unique soulful and magical musical experience. His most recent works have been released for the MAM project with Miguel Campbell remixing the likes of the Climbers, deadmau5 and Flight Facilities, as well as putting out releases via Wolf+Lamb, Future Classic & Hot Creations to name a few.

Iain O'Hare has been an active part of the Outcross Records crew for over 4 years, first releasing with the label in 2011 with ‘I’ll Come Running’ and ‘Radiovox.’ Influenced by artists such as Inland Knights, his production brings rolling beats coupled with hypnotic vocal snips and warm bassline grooves.

Playing alongside Steve Lawler, KiNK and Kölsch among many others, Miguel Campbell has headlined some of the world’s biggest parties and ended 2016 with a tour around Australia and Fiji following his hugely successful club mix of Janet Jackson’s ‘DAMN BABY’. Fast forward to 2017, and Miguel's relentless march continues as he continues working on more music, including recent remixes for Basement Jaxx & RÜFÜS, as well as enjoying a hectic touring schedule that has seen the veteran tour Mexico twice, as well as performing in Ecuador as part of his South America tour, in addition to a set at UK’s We Are FSTVL.

Having recently collaborated with Australian producer Colour Castle on ‘I Know A Place’, which later enjoyed a vibrant remix from Amine Edge & Dance, as well as ‘Walk & Talk’ – his recent collaboration with Sion – Miguel’s silky Outcross collab ‘Exposé’ serves as an aural embodiment of all three artist’s dynamic styles, and is set for release on 5th January.
