XY&O - Fahrenheit

Following the recent success of their critically acclaimed singles ‘Lights On’ and ‘Low Tide’, upfront electro-pop trio XY&O are set to unveil the latest instalment of their upcoming EP ‘Shimmer & Shine’
 
This year the Cardiff based trio return to stake their claim on tropically infused house music with the announcement of the third single ‘Fahrenheit’ from forthcoming debut EP ‘Shimmer & Shade’. This glittering summer jam aims to help the listener escape from the gloomy winter months, slipping back into a sun-drenched paradise with the perfect blend of ethereally high synth interchanges and feel good beats.
 
The narrative of retrospect, lust, and longing showcases a delicious combination of warm synths, melodic house beats and the tropical sounds of organic percussion. Rolling baselines, and glitchy lead guitar carry the fearless indie-pop vocals from lead singer Skip Curtis. ‘Fahrenheit’ injects the listener with irresistible summer-romance nostalgia that will have them pining for clear blue oceans and white beaches.
