Family Ticket Announced for Sounds in the Grounds

Warwick Castle is delighted to announce that child tickets and family packages are now on sale for Friday 10th July’s edition of Sounds in the Grounds, the unforgettable new music event held in the castle’s jaw-dropping mediaeval surrounds. Featuring spectacular performances from sing-along favourites Kaiser Chiefs, chart-topping rapper Professor Green and the hottest property in pop, Ella Eyre, it’s a must-see affair, with something for all the family. Family tickets are priced at £150 (+BF) for two adults and two children (age 4-16) Child tickets are priced at £30 (+BF). Under 4’s are free.
 
Sounds in the Grounds promises to be a landmark event, not only for its superb musical line-up, but also for the mouth-watering eateries that will be serving locally sourced foods throughout the evening. Delicious temptations on offer will include Gallops Farm handmade beef burgers, hand-battered fish & chips, fabulous French food from Madam Gutier, ostrich burgers, sweet & savoury crepes, Warwickshire strawberries & cream and much more.
 
Tickets are also available for Saturday’s Sounds in the Grounds show. An altogether different prospect, dominated by classical fare, the evening will feature The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by West End legend David Firman, renowned as the musical director for the original productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Evita and many more. Star of ‘The Voice’, Lucy O’Byrne, will also take to the stage for her debut festival performance. Sure to be a rousing recital, the classical show will have the audience waving their union flags at the castle with The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra performing a selection of Proms favourites, including the Hornpipe, Rule Britannia!, Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 (Land of Hope and Glory) and Nimrod. The evening will come to a grand crescendo with a firework display lighting up the dusky sky.
