Taking a dive into his cultural heritage, ‘Melody’ was crafted in collaboration with burgeoning producer Ransom Beatz. An Afrobeat groove packed in punches from the get-go, with Damola’s silky falsetto soaking into the melody.
“When I was writing ‘melody’ I wanted to create a sound that when people listen to it they will be forced to groove to it. I want to bring joy to the hearts and faces of the people, and the right melody does that.” Damola explains.
