The international affair that is the newly reimagined version of milet’s “Flare” comes to us from Netherland’s FAULHABER and China’s Crazy Donkey. Many anime fans will recognize the original as the ending theme song for the second season of King’s Ranking.
“I feel absolutely honored being invited to do this remix together with Crazy Donkey of “Flare” by the amazingly talented milet – I can’t wait to play this out live whenever I visit Japan soon! I hope the Japanese fans enjoy this as much as I do as I feel it’s a great example of East meeting West in terms of sound.” – FAULHABER
FAULHABER and Crazy Donkey’s take on “Flare” makes for a much groovier listen. The talented producers let the vocal lead the way while they elevate milet’s strength with their bouncy basslines. With influences ranging from tropical and deep house to synthwave, this remix is a must have for any Summer playlists, especially if you’re an anime fan.
“‘Flare’ was already such a unique song because of milet’s special vocals and the live instrumentation used, so we really wanted to come together to create something that elevated the feelings and energy, but also stay true to the power of the original. FAULHABER and I had so much fun working on it!”
