Solardo’s influential Sola label follows up the Manchester duo’s own massive EP—which went to Number 1 in the overall release chart on Beatport— with another big release. This one comes from man-of-the-moment , Franky Rizardo.
Dutchman Franky recently scored his first Beatport number 1 with Same Man on Defected and now has one of the hottest records in Ibiza this summer – with his Marian Hill Down remix on Island Records. His sound is fresh and modern but informed by years of rich house history.
Up first here is the brilliant ‘Feel Alright,’ a fresh house cut with nerve jangling synths. The chunky drums are driving down low and there are some fiery vocal cries up top to really make the track jump.
‘Killa Bees’ is another essential offering, this time with stripped back tech grooves coloured by rave sirens. The loopy bass pulls you in over and over and tribal chants add extra character and ensure this one is going to be a huge summer anthem.
These are two more vital tracks from this most on point house talent, and they are sure to bring lots more success to the Sola label.
