Festival of Sound releases official playlist on Spotify

With less than three weeks to go until the Festival of Sound, the Music and Audio Show (28-30 September, Novotel Conference Centre, Hammersmith) hits the Capital, the event organisers are releasing an official event playlist on Spotify. This contains over 50 songs that will be played by the hi-fi exhibitors throughout the course of three days to immerse visitors in the show’s vibrant atmosphere.

The eclectic mix of genres ranges from country and rock to jazz and blues, from Queen to Christine and The Queens and from Pink Floyd to Patricia Kaas. What these tracks all have in common is they demonstrate the excellent sound quality delivered by the latest audio technology available at the show. The equipment on display will allow consumers to listen to them and all their favourite music in the comfort of their home and grasp the nuances of the artists’ recordings.

In addition, the event is showcasing a series of high profile guest artists, including Chris Difford, James Lavelle & Philip Sheppard, Art of Noise co-founders JJ Jeczalik and Gary Langan, Beth Nielsen Chapman, KOKOMO, The Unsung Singers, Antonio Forcione, Peaky, DRE, Margin Kings, King Kofi, and many more.

Vernon Hamblin, Festival of Sound producer, says, “Those who are passionate about music speak the same universal language; one of sound and rhythm. We are very excited to offer visitors a sneak peek into the fascinating universe we’ve prepared for them and can guarantee that more experiences await them over the full weekend. From rock, soul and funk to jazz, we will touch upon all genres and selected the best acts for people to indulge in.”

This year's Festival of Sound is even more music focused. Most of the exhibitors and brands from the audio, headphone, portable audio and streaming sectors that exhibited at the first two shows are returning, such as Bowers & Wilkins, KEF, Naim, PMC, Vertere Acoustics and Yamaha. The popular headroom™ headphones event will also be present along with additional exhibitors and brands from musical instruments and other music related sectors.

The official show playlist can be listened to via this link https://spoti.fi/2Ng1LXs and tickets are available on www.festivalofsound.co.uk.
