Field Maneuvers 2016 announced…

One of the best kept secrets in the UK rave calendar is the small, yet beautifully formed end of summer fun that is Field Maneuvers festival, a three-day party held in a secret location just outside London. 2016 sees the Field Maneuvers family grow as they announce brand new residents as the first names for this summers event, with Ryan Elliott, Ben Sims, Jane Fitz, Brackles, Mark E and more all aboard for the madness that will ensue. For those with a taste for all things house, techno, disco and acid, Field Maneuvers is an essential date in the diary, the perfect way to round off summer.

Built on the ethos of free parties with a carefree, cheeky attitude, Field Maneuvers has real family vibrations, encompassed by the much-loved FM residents that return each year. Both old and new faces are in place for this years summer send off, with Berghain resident and kick-drum obsessive Ryan Elliott and leading techno light, Ben Sims, both set to bring fist-pumping sets to the dance floors (and fields). Bringing his esteemed ‘Machine’ party-brand to FM, Ben Sims will be focusing on showcasing the very freshest of techno sounds.

Also part of the crew for 2016 is the ever-flawless Jane Fitz; a selector who breezes easily from acidic anthems to grooving disco cuts with effortless cool. Jane will be joined by ‘Night Moves’ partner-in-crime Jade Seatle for a very special edition of ‘Field Moves’, returning for its 4th installment at Field Maneuvers. Expect hands-in-the-air, headsy sets that span eclectic genres and timeless sounds. Rinse FM main man Rob Kemp, aka Brackles will lay down an energetic blend of house, funky, garage and 2-step; an esteemed selector with a wicked reputation, Brackles is a certified don in all respects.

Also on the resident’s bill is Bizarre Inc and Altern-8 founder and acid-house veteran Mark Archer, a DJ’s DJ with over 20 years in the business under his belt. FM stalwart Elgato and king of the edits Mark E are also welcomed back with open arms, plus expect eclectic afro-infused selections from Highlife’s esteemed Auntie Flo. Keep your eyes peeled for much more to be announced, with The Black Madonna, Optimo, Move D, Tama Sumo, Nick Hoppner, Marcellus Pittman, Daniel Avery, Josey Rebelle and Slimzee all previous FM stars, there’s a bunch of surprises still to come.

One of the most intimate festival experiences around today, Field Maneuvers is a truly special party for those freespirits looking to experience the very best in underground club music. Holding less than 800 people across three stages each year, Field Maneuvers is the kind of place you enter on a Friday and lose yourself, leaving with a few hundred new friends on a Monday. Only an hour away from London via train or car, the site is easily accessible from London or all major cities in the UK. Camping spaces are available on site for no extra fee. After selling out for the last three  years, and already on their third tier priced at £89, ensure a place at Field Maneuvers 2016 now.
