The White Collar Project is the creation of Venezuelan born DJ and artist Alejandro Zamora, a vinyl only mix series and creative label built on the belief that music can restore, reconnect, and rebuild. For Alejandro, it did exactly that.
After years of playing vinyl in Caracas and later in London’s techno scene, he stepped away from music completely. Life moved in other directions, business took over, and eventually a legal battle and the weight of depression left him isolated and disconnected. At his lowest point, there was no stage and no audience, just a crate of records and a pair of turntables.
What began as private, unplanned mixing sessions became a lifeline. The physical act of cueing, blending, and feeling music in his hands gave Alejandro focus, purpose, and a voice when words failed. In those hours with the decks, the noise of anxiety gave way to flow. It was a return to a craft he had always loved and a reminder of how deeply music could cut through silence.
Eventually, he began sharing a few of these recordings on YouTube. With no promotion and fewer than ten uploads, they connected instantly with listeners searching for something real. Today, The White Collar Project channel has over 160,000 subscribers from around the world, drawn to its raw, needle to groove authenticity. The sets span house, techno, hip hop, soul, tribal rhythms, Latin grooves, and Afro textures, with no sync buttons, no edits, and no distractions, just music played with care, feel, and intent.
The project has since expanded into a wider cultural platform. Its limited run streetwear collections use premium fabrics and design codes rooted in luxury, while the art arm produces numbered pop surreal canvases, kinetic sculptures, and record inspired prints. Across music, fashion, and art, the focus is on quality, individuality, and rarity, values that have resonated with collectors, DJs, and style leaders alike.
At its heart, The White Collar Project remains about connection. It is proof that music, and electronic music in particular, can be more than entertainment, it can be a way back to yourself.
