FiNE drop a new Afro House anthem with “Nomathemba”, releasing April 25th via Sippytime.
South Africa’s FiNE can’t catch a break. Following the success of “Kidonda” and the accompanying launch of theirSippytime, they have delivered pure Afro House magic with their newest offing “Nomathemba” once again. After garnering support by Idd Aziz for “Kidonda”, they have collaborated with yet another legend for “Nomathemba” just two months later.
Enriching the signature sound of FiNE on “Nomathemba” is South African vocalist Lizwi who lends her powerful voice to the single. Resting on top of a virtuous musical groundwork by the hands of brothers Darren and Craig Fine, are Lizwi’s powerful ululation vocals, adding to the already palpable vibrancy of “Nomathemba”. FiNE have combined elegant piano elements with a rich array of synth layers and a pulsating bass – all teeming with life and energy. While starting almost Minimal, “Nomathemba” has a beautiful Build-Up with Liwzi’s vocals slowly creeping in, until they can fully radiate in the break.
FiNE are showcasing their mastery of production and emotional musical storytelling with “Nomathemba”, transporting every listener from all over the world into the musical landscape of South Africa. By showing off their rich cultural heritage of South Africa and Australia alike, FiNE’s newest single is nothing short of a true Afro House anthem.
“Nomathemba” is out now on all major streaming platforms!
