Matt Sassari & D-Unity - Fired Up

23rd May sees two of Techno’s rising stars, Matt Sassari & D-Unity, team up to bring you their debut EP on Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s seminal Intec imprint entitled, ‘Fired Up’.

This essential two-track EP follows French-born Sassari’s previous releases on labels such as SCI+TEC, Tronic and Deeperfect Records plus the Toronto-based D-Unity’s appearances on Toolroom, Yoshitoshi, Skint, Great Stuff and Unity Records amongst others.

The EP’s opening track, ‘Haey Tik Tik’, kicks off proceedings, boasting a driving Tech House groove that underpins an abundance of looped-up rave-esque vocal samples and a superb use of build effects.

The EP’s title track, ‘Fired Up’ is next up and concludes the release by utilising a stellar soulful house vocal chopped up and looped over a pounding Tech House framework that features a series of atmospheric effects to help create just the right amount of tension and suspense throughout the track.

‘Fired Up’ EP is available exclusively via Beatport on May 23rd and everywhere else two weeks later.
