French producer Leonard de Leonard, a veteran of the electronic music scene and Berlin resident for nearly two decades, returns with First on the Dancefloor — a sharp, club-focused EP built around a hypnotic vocal hook and functional grooves.
The original mix is a raw, driving tool looping the phrase “First on the dancefloor” with relentless energy.
-The Minimal Version strips it down to the groove’s core — deep, spacious, and focused.
Finally, Polish producer An On Bast delivers a trippy acid reinterpretation, twisting the vocal and injecting her signature flair.
The artwork was created by The Pit, a French artist based in Lille, known since the late ’80s for his surreal, ink-based illustrations. His work explores the body through constraint, dislocation, and intense sensuality — a perfect visual echo to the raw and physical nature of this release.
Out via Leonizer Records, this is a powerful three-track package built for dancefloor action.
