Since its launch in 2015, Spring Break Amsterdam has now established itself as the most essential weekend getaway for real music lovers who want a truly unique party experience mixed with a cultural weekend away in one of Europe’s most rich and storied cities. It has become a rite of passage for UK students, and because of the carefully considered line-up and the host city, Spring Break Amsterdam also appeals to a wider crowd of clubbers. From professionals to party animals, Spring Break Amsterdam is a weekend of discovery, world class music and endless possibility in the adult playground that is Amsterdam.

Event Organiser, Connor White said, “As the years have gone by, we have watched Spring Break become a tradition, a rite of passage for music lovers and adventurers alike. It’s grown exponentially from attracting 400 people in 2015 to around 7,000 in 2018. If you haven’t done it yet, it’s about 'Dam time you did!”

The 2018 lineup showcased world class DJ sets alongside live shows from the likes of Big Narstie, Chase & Status, Sub Focus and My Nu Leng. The venues hosting Spring Break Amsterdam are truly revered and become standalone festival stages. All within walking distance, they range from the 2,000 capacity Melkweg – housed in a former milk factory, quirky Club NYX sprawling over three floors with urban graffiti décor, leading electronic music venues, Escape and Air, and the stylish Claire, all suited on Rembrandtplein. Clubbers jump from venue to venue as they seek out their favourite acts.

Once again, the 2019 line-up packs a real punch across multiple genres. The first wave of announcements is headed up by UK chart toppers and global stars Rudimental, who are set to unleash their much-anticipated new album Toast To Our Differences hot on the heels of huge singles like ‘These Days’ and ‘Summer Love’ with Rita Ora.

Then comes the return of Channel 4 host and grime kingpin Big Narstie, who is much loved for his sense of humour and boisterous rhymes. He’s joined by the always dizzying DJ Q, underground tech house artist Eli Brown, multi-genre mash-up man Holy Goof, cult ragga MC General Levy, multi-genre, cut-n-paste DJ star Jaguar Skills and grime innovator Lady Leshurr.

Defected’s bass house talent Sam Divine also features on the 2019 lineup, with Australian house star Sonny Fodera, drum & bass legend Shy FX, one-to-watch Nathan Dawe, the superstar trio of TQD (aka Royal T, DJ Q, Flava D) plus a solo set by Royal T, drum & bass collective SASASAS, rising basssmiths Notion, Sammy Virji and Skepsis, and Bristolian UKG outfit 24 Garage Girls. More acts are yet to be announced.

Tickets for Spring Break Amsterdam 2019 come in a variety of packages to suit varying budgets and requirements. The festival only ticket costs £99 which grants entry to each club event over the three days. Add on £89 for basic accommodation (hostel) or for £110, stay in a more premium level of accommodation. All that’s required to reserve a place is an advanced £50 deposit which can be secured via www.springbreakamsterdam.co.uk.

Spring Break Amsterdam runs coach services (£68) departing from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth and Plymouth, each hosted by an official event rep. The overnight journey takes 12 hours, so guests can sleep through the night and wake up in the ‘dam where they’ll then be escorted to their chosen accommodation. Guests can of course, opt out of the coach service altogether and take their own route by any means they choose.

Guests can select up to four extras when booking tickets. These include, an unadulterated, four-hour boat party hosted by big name DJs (£29); a guided pub crawl around the city’s charming array of watering holes with free shots on arrival (£15); the official Spring Break Amsterdam t-shirt to help spot fellow Spring Breakers a mile off (£15); and the VIP upgrade which includes a place on the pub crawl, an official t-shirt, and access to the exclusive VIP areas in each venue, per night (£39).

As well as its quality lineups and like-minded party people, Spring Break Amsterdam is about getting lost in the streets, exploring the many different sights and scenes the city has to offer. From the Red Light District to the Van Gogh Museum or taking a canal boat tour, each day guests can roam to their hearts’ desire, before joining each night in the revelry that is Spring Break!
