Flashmob delivers with ‘Roll The Dice’

One of the scene’s most consistent and respected artists for over a decade, Flashmob returns to his own ‘Flashmob Records’ imprint on 5th July with ‘Roll The Dice’ – a tune that promises to be one of the summer’s weightiest weapons and a statement of intent for the producer moving forward.

Coinciding with the 5th anniversary of the label, ‘Roll The Dice’ is a tour-de-force in precision, synth-driven 4/4 house.  A groovy bassline underpins the track and warms things up for one of the catchiest hooks you’ll hear this year – a vocal that seems to have been taken straight form the peak of the 90s dance scene and entwined with the simple yet infectious, wonky synth that defines ‘Roll The Dice’.

With a vocal that appeals to the masses and a standard of production that needs to be appreciated on the world’s best sound-systems, Flashmob describes the ease of which the single was conceived in the studio:

“I did this feeling extremely free to lay it out like it is, and I think it surfs both the underground and the mainstream… And that is always a good thing to achieve.” – Flashmob

Seen on labels like Hot Creations, Get Physical and Defected, Flashmob has long been an integral member of the underground who continues to raise the bar as a label owner, a producer and a DJ. Summer 2019 sees him playing at the iconic Paradise opening party at DC10, Ibiza on June 12th – a clear sign of his place within the scene – and a stacked diary which will take him across Europe to Malta, Italy, Austria and of course, his home country of Italy.

With a clear vision and an unwavering drive, ‘Roll The Dice’ is something of an oxymoron if you apply the term to Flashmob’s own career, but as a track – you can guarantee that whoever throws this into the mix, it’s going to be a sure-fire winner every time.

Flashmob – Roll The Dice is out Friday 5th July via Flashmob Records
