After riding high in the charts with ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, their extraordinary collaboration with Calvin Harris, South London DJ/production trio Disciples delve deeper into the clubs with new EP, ‘The Following’ – scheduled for release on November 7th via FFRR.
‘The Following’ EP is a collection of tracks the guys have been experimenting with during their DJ sets over the last few months. Of the three new tracks, the energy of ‘Mastermind’ most openly wears its influences on its sleeve with rolling, hypnotic bass, while ‘Flawless’ rounds things off with another trademark bassline, flashes of Luke’s spoken word and an eerie, de-tuned melody.
In addition to their recordings, Disciples have also provided remixes for everyone from Azari & III and MK, to Coldplay via Lana Del Rey. Following their Calvin Harris collaboration, the trio also have a further project lined up with Robin Schultz.
