Flight Facilities drop remix of Dom Dolla & Mansionair’s ‘Strangers’

Australian dance music duo Flight Facilities are the latest artists to remix Dom Dolla and Mansionair’s smash collaborative single ‘Strangers’.

Propelled by retro synths and glistening melodies, the Flight Facilities remix of ‘Strangers’ trades in the driving house of the original for an invigorating dose of new wave that’s simply impossible to resist.

Speaking on the remix, Flight Facilities says, “About 4 years ago Dom Dolla turned a Flight Facilities song (Arty Boy) into a dance floor banger. So this year we tried to turn a Dom Dolla banger into a Flight Facilities song”

Looking to all corners of the globe to construct a remix package with some of the most renowned names in dance music today, it follows a tech-heavy edit from Will Clarke, with further reworks from Nora En Pure and Tinlicker in the pipeline.

Dom Dolla’s final release of 2021, the original has quickly become a certified club hit, amassing upwards of 3.5 million streams on Spotify alone. Last month the track’s official cinematic video was shot on and around the sun-kissed beaches of Cape Town, South Africa by renowned filmmaker Emilie Badenhorst (6black ft. Khalid ‘Seasons’)

Having racked up over half a billion streams globally since their inception in 2008 at the forefront of Australian clubland, Flight Facilities have made a name for themselves by honing in on musical trends and remodeling them into something timeless. Taking something old and crafting entirely new material out of it is what gives Flight Facilities their edge, as they pocket moments of time and transform them into the next global dance sounds, creating works that will last forever. In 2021, Flight Facilities dropped their album FOREVER, which included collaborations with Channel Tres and Broods.

The Flight Facilities remix of ‘Strangers’ sees the acclaimed track reimagined with scintillating effect.
