Forgotten Frequencies releases soulful electronic debut EP on Glasgow-based label In The Event Of Capture

Forgotten Frequencies has released his debut EP, Simpler Vibrations. Released today on In The Event Of Capture, the four-track project is a heady blend of electric piano and punchy percussion, interspersed with soulful guitars and soothing vocal lines. As well as being the artist’s first solo release, the EP also features a lovingly crafted remix of “Waves” by veterans of Glasgow’s burgeoning underground scene and In The Event Of Capture label heads, We Should Hang Out More.

Also hailing from the Southside of Glasgow, Forgotten Frequencies is a producer and multi-instrumentalist whose love of live performances and real instrumentation undercurrents a style that spans from low-slung Rhodes dominant house music, to uptempo and euphoric, peak-time stompers.

Having released on multiple VA compilations, from home-grown Scottish labels Tonic Note Records and Alumni, to Dutch imprint Techfui, Forgotten Frequencies has garnered support from some of the most formidable names in house music, including Laurent Garnier, Black Loops and Demuja.

In The Event of Capture is a new Glasgow-based record label operating out of Govanhill in the city by We Should Hang Out More, focusing on narrative driven electronica from producers across the globe.
