2.Giraffage and Daktyl at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen – Tuesday 16th August
San Francisco producer Charlie Yin has made quite a name for himself turning bedroom beats into dance floor staples as Giraffage. His beloved R&B remixes and vibe-laden solo tracks have won early praise from Pitchfork, The Fader, XLR8R and other tastemakers and his lush, bass-driven performances are deservedly hyped.
Daktyl uses his multi-instrumentalist talents and diverse musical background to make insane beat-driven grooves which completely disregard the confines of a single genre. He was recently given a coveted Artists To Watch title by Rolling stone magazine and his track ‘Forgettable’ was Zane Lowe’s Next Hype and it one of the only UK artists on Diplo’s L.A based, Mad Decent imprint.
