Francesco - Francesco (Italy) – We Are Illness

Francesco’s own imprint returns, after the first digital release, with a new EP that continue to strength the label reputation of being a platform for uncompromising techno sounds.

“We Are Illness”, that gives the name to the release, is based on a progression of dark and almost acid synths, starting from the beginning very quiet in the mix but slowly opening up while the rhythm parts keep building, to arrive to a moment of maximum energy for the dance floor. In the breakdown there is a choir-like pad for creating even more tension, before the track returns to his peak.

“New Order” use instead a classic type of synth chords, to create a “Detroit” type of sound, but layered over Francesco’s simple-but-effective stomping beats in a contemporary way, to ensure a constant flow of energy through its entire length.
