Frank Storm debuts on Hottrax

The correctly named Hottrax welcome Italian star Frank Storm for a brace of brilliant new grooves in ‘Body Crunch’.

Storm has really established himself in Ibiza as the founder of Unusual Suspects, a cult underground night that has been at Sankeys since 2015. The party has gone on to host events round the world while his own sound fuses deepness with minimal tech grooves and has landed on Hot Creations, Get Physical, Rawthentic, Celesta and Serialism amongst many others.

Up first here is ‘Body Crunch,’ a quick and slick track of deft drum programming, busy percussive details and late night energy that steps you off your feet. It’s a stripped back track but a hugely effective one that is brilliantly infectious.

On the flip, ‘Attenders’ is another masterfully minimal tune with involving loops of warm bass, sci-fi effects and watery chords that sink you deep into the supple groove.

These are two high class and superbly executed tracks from one of the scene’s finest.
