Dutch superstar Franky Rizardo will be well known to house fanatics around the world. With releases across well-established labels such as OFF and Defected, the ‘Troubleman EP’ is a fantastic lead up to Rizardo’s much anticipated Deep Down & Defected compilation due out later this year. The title track lays a deep, rolling bass foundation before layering heavy synth hits and an eerily pitched down vocal in some of Rizardo’s finest production to date. On the flip, ‘Heater’ is a much darker affair, with a rolling bassline and clattering percussion creating deeply tribal atmospherics for those ‘lost in a groove’ dancefloor moments.
