Freakin’ Disco cooperated with Grammy winner producer

The music of Freakin’ Disco is deep, psychedelic and groovy. The elemental power of their live performances launches the audience to space. The band is just released their third album featuring multi-Grammy Award winner Steve Dub, producer of The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy and many more.

Their second album, MONSTER, was released by Launching Gagarin Records & Management in November 2018. Their video and albums appear frequently on the end-of-the-year top lists of music blogs. The music video of RULES (from MONSTER) made it to the finals of New York’s One Screen film festival, the Berlin Music Video Awards. The video received the Best Director Award at Hungary’s Music Video Awards. The band was selected by IMPALA (European independent labels’ association) to their ‘100 bands to watch in 2023’ list. The first single and music video, Face Yourself, was released in November 2022 and won Best Electronic Music Video Award at the Europe Music Video Awards.

TOTEM is the third album of Freakin’ Disco, which is more coherent than the earlier ones and means a lot for the band.“This album is a very serious piece of work that everyone put two hundred percent into. It is not to be taken lightly. I think TOTEM is a symbol of that and it makes the album more magical for us. It’s music that the four of us believe in together. Totem for me is the possibility to connect with something more ancient than I am. We didn’t define what totem meant to the band members when we started working this record, but we knew that everyone had their own unquestionable connection to something we now call a totem” – told the band about their new masterpiece.

The band has played or will be playing at the following festivals and cities: MENT (SI), Sziget Festival (HU), Ozora (HU), Beseda u Bigbítu (CZ), Slaughterhouse Festival (DK), tour with Toot Ensemble (CZ), mumush (RO), NFGreen Festival (SK), Vsudybud (CZ), Malom (SRB), SramlFest (CZ), London (UK), Brighton (UK), Berlin
