Fred Falke & Zen Freeman deliver “Watch The Sun”

“Watch the Sun lyrics were inspired by a friend’s relationship with an elusive girl. We had a lot of fun in the studio developing and merging our personal tastes and techniques, like combining the finest vintage synthesizers with the latest plug ins, or recording a 1969 fender bass into a Pioneer DJS-1000 DJ Sampler. This is the story of our sound, some might call it house music” – Fred & Zen

Since his ground-breaking debut on the electro scene, Fred Falke has developed a unique sound oscillating between irresistible pop melodies and a strong French Touch aesthetic. A prolific and prominent figure of the French Touch movement, his remixing talent has led him to collaborate with the likes of U2, Robbie Williams, Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey, Jamiroquai, Justice and Hot Chip.

Today, Fred splits his time between Los Angeles and France. California, a place he dreamt of as a kid, has seen Fred team up with Zen Freeman to deliver “Watch The Sun” a silky slice of summer equally at home on the runway at Paris Fashion Week as it is in Ibiza. Zen’s previous releases, most notably onCalvin Harris’ Fly Eye Recordings and collaboration with Macy Gray on Defected Records, have received great critical acclaim with support from the likes of David Guetta, Afrojack, Fede Le Grandeand Bob Sinclair. Zen has an arsenal of upcoming collaborations scheduled for 2019 featuring Daft Punkcollaborator, Todd Edwards and Boy George!
