Martin Landsky and Marco Resmann are both accomplished producers who have a lot of credits to their name when solo and also when working together. Lava was their last big smash and now they are back with a couple more such tunes for the Upon. You label. Their two cuts get remixed in style by each other in solo mode.
Fred The Ball opens up with a freaky tech beat and some neon synths, rubbery drums and sci fi vibes. It’s slick and fresh then Marco Resmann goes on his own to remix. The result is six and a half minutes of mid tempo house funk with soulful pads and nice cool groove. Poly Mono then again cuts loose with some saw tooth synths sliding up and down the scale as subtle chords ebb and flow in the middle. Curious percussion and great use of filters builds real drama and as things explode it is sure to blow clubs apart. Then Landsky remixes and decides to layer in fat dub chords and some Latin percussion that is super seductive and nice and fresh in groove.
