Peter Makto & Gregory S - Friends EP

Budapest duo Peter Makto & Gregory S return to German imprint Bondage Music with a new EP entitled ‘Friends’, featuring 3 heady originals.

Peter Makto & Gregory S have been producing mesmeric underground tech-house as a pair since 2012, releasing on Cyclic Records, Highway Records, King Street Sounds, and their own imprint Truesounds. Well respected DJs & producers respectively, Peter Makto has won Hungary DJ of the year four times since 2006 while Gregory S. is equally as skilled having cut his teeth on the Hungarian underground circuit, and this January sees the two return to Bondage with the ‘Friends’ EP – 18 months on from the success of their last outing with the label, ‘Homebase’.

First up is ‘Friends’, which introduces low-slung grooves underneath popping percussion and a collage of bubbling synths and vocals before ‘Sleepwalker’ strips things back with driving four to the floor drums and eerie, twilight inspired keyboard chords coupled with a breezy melodic hook.

Closing the EP in lofty fashion is ‘Yoss’, which offers an intoxicating bass riff cemented in place by jittering synth melodies and swelling atmospherics for an animated peak-time number.

Peter Makto & Gregory S’s ‘Friends’ EP drops January 2017 on Bondage music.

Tracklist:
