If sweaty 3 a.m. dance floors are the cornerstone of electronic music, then Josh Wink is its legendary architect.
The iconic producer will once again soundtrack warehouse romps with his newest record “Full Late Night.” The pulsating, monochrome groove is teeming with spacey synths and arpeggiated, minimalistic beats, and available now as a free download via Ovum Recordings.
“Full Late Night” was originally recorded in 2003 for Wink’s “20 to 20” album sessions, but the beatmaker ultimately decided it didn’t fit the sound of that release so he’s kept the tune locked away in his vault until now. Last summer Wink passed shared the track with some DJ friends, including Ben Klock who loved it and featured it in his Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 which happened to win Essential Mix of the Year in 2015.
Showcasing the sounds that have come to define his iconic, 25 year career, Wink unveils “Full Late Night” as a surefire staple in sunrise sets for years to come.
