VOLAC - Funky EP

After kicking off their North American tour, Russian house duo VOLAC end the year with a bang as they release a two-track ‘Funky’ EP. Delivering booming kicks, heavy hi-hats, and infectiously looping basslines, the EP will bring listeners deep into the pulsing abyss of house music.
 
The EP is comprised of two upbeat tracks, ‘Funky’ and ‘Bass So Low’ that are sure to keep house heads moving. ‘Funky’ begins with a pulsing bassline that hastily builds with punching snares, falling into a deep funk-infused drop. ‘Bass So Low’ overtakes listeners with heavy hi-hats and hypnotic vocals, combining to create the ultimate house haven. The EP’s infectious groove channels bass house, tech house, and everything in between.
 
Arriving just before the EP, the dynamic duo debut on BBC Radio 1 via their mix for ‘Diplo and Friends’. VOLAC’s hour-long guest mix covers all sorts of genres, from deep house to bass and ghetto house sounds. Fans can listen to the full mix below!
 
VOLAC has quickly garnered support from staples in the industry including house enthusiast AC Slater as the ‘Funky EP’ is released on his label ‘Night Bass’. The duo will take the stage with Slater during a stop on their ‘Funky’ tour that makes its way through the United States and Canada. After joining forces with the likes of DESTRUCTO, Malaa, and What So Not as well as taking the stages of EDC Las Vegas and Holy Ship, the unique and distinct production capabilities of VOLAC see no end in sight.
