Combine Audio, “Where old school and new school meet”, is a brand new label envisioned by the combined female power of Gayle San and Paula Cazenave.
Their techno expertise have resulted in their globalized success, performing in multiple localities and exchanging mutual energy whenever sharing a platform together. Now Combine Audio, based in both Frankfurt and Barcelona, aims to bring techno audiences twelve innovative and fresh releases each year.
The new EP, Fuse On, is derived from their impassioned creative catalyst. Fueled by a desire to reach new electronic ground, and indoctrinated with techno law reminiscent of its origins, the two productions reach a new level of digital mastery; a valid summary of the duo's combined success.
The exaggerated sub low-fi of Crickets On Crack, offers a sturdy undercurrent. Breathy sampling echoes through tunnel like filters and insectuous mumbling and high pitched shrills project an atmosphere of paranoid ambience.
The second track, Deploy, conglomerates everything techno for a solid, full throttle dance track. Offbeat voices, eerie cavernous decays within the mids and a punchy snare, are just a few of the components that make up the full bodied sound – although there remains a clear differentiation between the layers.
Fuse On will be available from July 17th via Combine Audio.
