Following releases on sinnmusik* and a rapidly-repressed Roots For Bloom 'S.H.A.G. Edits' feature, mystery man G. Markus tees up a full Monologues Records release by hooking up with the homies Soul Clap to give away some tasty edits via their Soul Clap Records SoundCloud channel.
Says Eli from Soul Clap: "Who is G. Markus? It’s kind of a secret, but his alter ego has been a supporter for a long time. Now his superhero side comes out on these earth shaking edits that pay tribute to Sunny Ade and Jackson Jones. The Soul Clap Records edit series continues with two classic jams flipped in new ways, floaty and funky. Club tested and Clap approved."
G. Markus’ version of D'Angelo's 'Sugah Daddy' kicked off his edit series a while ago, and he's since enjoyed support from the likes of Ripperton, jozif, Waze & Odyssey, Droog, Sasse, The Mekanism and Melon.
Look out for an EP from G. Markus on Monologues Records soon plus a 12" EP for Berlin's Sneaky Music.
