Hailing from Montreal, French-Canadian producer Gab Rhome is set to release his ‘Drifting’ EP on Anjunadeep this March.
The bourgeoning artist, who has released on labels such as Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, Guy Gerber’s Supplement Facts and Lee Burridge & Matthew Dekay’s All Day I Dream, is fast-becoming one of world’s most promising electronic music producers as he continues pushing his innovative and emotional strain of house music.
Sweeping pads and a languid bassline engineer a deep and sultry affair in ‘Drifting’ whilst Gab’s softly sung male vocals add an indie touch to the dreamy roller. First heard in James Grant’s recent Anjunadeep Edition mix, ‘I’ve Changed My Scent For You’ is then a layered cut combining euphoric synths, intricate melodies and a purring sub-bass. Finally ‘Warm Days’ forms a mellow mood with tantalising keys and hypnotic chanting to round off an impressive debut with another atmospheric gem.
Gab Rhome releases ‘Drifting’ EP on Anjunadeep on March 16th 2015.
