The intoxicating sound of Gabry Ponte and DJs From Mars in unison can once again be heard reverberating across the globe as they take Sidekick’s 2008 club classic ‘Deep Fear’ on an intense journey into the dark depths of dance music.
Landing on Gabry Ponte’s own PENTAPHONIA Records, ‘Deep Fear’ is a blazing example of the signature sound the imprint is making its name for. Slick production, piercing club energy and a dark edge that commands main stage level swagger.
Building around the original hook and impressionable beat sequence of ‘Deep Fear,’ Gabry Ponte and DJs From Mars work in a pulsating bass kick and rapturous rising synth that tantalisingly echoes out onto the crowd. Striking the perfect chord between honouring a classic and turning it into a contemporary cut, sirens soon signal out over the dancefloor as ‘Deep Fear’ succumbs to the infatuating pressure of the final euphoria-inducing drop.

Friends and long-standing collaborators of Gabry Ponte, DJs From Mars are a solid signing to PENTAPHONIA with their legendary reputation in the dance music community. When the duo, who are also from Italy, aren’t in the studio working on epic mash-ups and huge collabs with the likes of Hardwell, Laidback Luke and MATTN, they’re jet-setting across continents to play the biggest parties around, from Tomorrowland Festival to jumping on stage with David Guetta at Ushuaïa, Ibiza.
