Following a sell-out 2019 event, GALA today reveals it will be returning to Peckham Rye Park this summer with a two-day celebration marking its fifth year. Taking place across Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, the much loved South London festival invites some of the most highly-regarded local and international artists on the house and disco scene to curate unique line-ups for the festival’s stages across the weekend.

On Saturday 22 May, house explorer Gerd Janson hosts the festival’s club-haven ‘Pleasure Dome’ stage following a highlight performance at GALA at 2019 edition, whilst Job Jobse brings his Strangelove party for its first UK festival outing. Elsewhere, globally-minded, London-based station Worldwide FM takes residency in Peckham for the day offering up the best in the UK’s current live and jazz scenes.

On Sunday, South-London party crew, Horse Meat Disco take up their annual residency at the ‘Pleasure Dome’. Jayda G will bring an energetic line-up of house, funk and soul, while genre-spanning DJ, radio host and Rhythm Section label-head, Bradley Zero represents his local Peckham with a line-up set to takeover the Open Dome on Sunday.

Bradley Zero, commented “My first trip to GALA defined what the London festival experience should be. Very much looking forward to bringing the rhythm section outdoors for another all-dayer in our own back yard!”

Headliners for the GALA mainstage to be announced with the full line up and stage guests in February, alongside details of the festival’s food and drink line up. Accompanying the music, will be a whole host of London’s finest flavours to brighten up the bank holiday.

Pre-sale tickets available from Thursday at 9AM & general release from Friday at 9AM. For more information sign up here: thisisgala.co.uk.
