Danish downtempo mastermind Christian Rønn (aka Ganga) returns with his latest single “Earthquakes” featuring Katharina Stenbeck of New York-based avant indie-dance outfit Folding Legs. Stenbeck ‘s melodic otherworldly vocals and evocative introspective lyrics are the perfect bedfellow for Rønn’s immersive and chilled-out, electronic and organic, world music-influenced soundscapes. The track is paired with the equally bewitching and sultry B-side “Where You Are” (featuring Helle Chirholm). It’s just a hint of things to come from the artist’s forthcoming studio album ‘Reptile Routine’, which includes collaborations with UK pop vocalist David McAlmont, acclaimed singer/songwriter Ingrid Chavez (who’s collaborated with Prince, David Sylvian, Lenny Kravitz and Madonna, among others), poetic chanteuse Vanessa Daou, Annemarie Zimakoff and Devon Dunaway.
