Various Artists - Generation HEX 002 EP

Don Diablo's HEXAGON imprint returns with the second installment of its much praised 'Generation HEX' EP series. Presenting some of the most aspiring new artists of the moment, this four-track package brings together the talents of Holl & Rush, PBH & Jack Shizzle featuring Michelle McKenna, Steff da Campo, Raven & Kreyn and Corderoy featuring Ghost Singer. Get ready to be hexed!

Known for delivering major hits and as a renowned talent scout, HEXAGON has quickly established itself as a well-respected dance label since its launch last year. Not only has head honcho Don Diablo produced some of its biggest releases, artists like Madison Mars, Toby Green, King Arthur, Sam Feldt, and Alex Adair have also delivered some highly acclaimed tracks.

This included the launch of 'Generation HEX', an EP series where the label explores many of its newly found talents. Earlier this year part 1 was released, featuring the burgeoning stars NomNom, Khrebto, Sagan and Jonas Aden.

Now, part two is out! This 'Generation HEX 002 EP' is, again, a blueprint of what's happening in the scene, bringing together four acts with each a sound of their own, with the broad HEXAGON sound cementing it all together.

There's Holl & Rush, the Dutch duo already supported by a huge amount of DJs (including guys like Tiësto, Hardwell and Steve Angello), dropping the exciting festival gem 'Lift Me Up'. Then there's uprising UK duo PBH & Jack Shizzle, working up the buzz around their act even more with 'Call Me', featuring Michelle McKenna on vocal duty.

The saga continues, as Dutchman Steff da Campo teams up with French duo Raven & Kreyn for the very unique sounding tune 'Chicago'. Topping things off is the much talked about London artist Corderoy, delivering the beautifully wayward record 'No Bounds'.

Here’s what Don Diablo himself has to say about the EP:

“I started the GENERATION HEX series to support new talent through my HEXAGON label. There are so many undiscovered talents out there that deserve a spotlight. For the EP's I try to find records that are well produced but also bring something unique to the table. I literally went through hundreds of tracks to create this EP and each record on the new EP plays their own unique role. "Lift me up" and "Call me" are classic peak time HEXAGON style records with great hooks and a much welcomed sonic twist. "Chicago" is dirtier and takes things to the next level on the dancefloor. Then finally "No Bounds" is a record that goes beyond the dancefloor and makes you feel like you are floating in a see of tranquility, a true masterpiece in my humble opinion. I am very excited about every single track and hope this brings the artists one step closer to their dreams.”
