Combining a true love for all things funk & soul orientated, TF&SW returns with its roots firmly placed in big brass sounds, hip-hop beats and future soul; mixing tropical, afro beat and world performances with disco, the right kind of house and all things in between. 2017 promises to be the ideal weekend for soul lovers, blending good times with unmissable talent across 3 days.
Headlining is funk & soul great George Clinton, who’ll perform his electric live show with 16-piece Parliament Funkadelic in tow. Joining him are New Orleans’ Hot 8 Brass Band, hip-hop royalty The Sugarhill Gang, Good Times ambassador Norman Jay MBE, Crazy P Soundsystem, Mr. Scruff, Flamingods, Taylor McFerrin, United Vibrations, Nubiyan Twist, Omar, Akua Naru and Jordan Rakei. Completing the lineup is a wealth of talent from the likes of Tru Thoughts, 22a, Soundway, Wah Wah, Mr Bongo, Banana Hill and more.
