Back again on KD Music after 2013’s ‘Let Me Tell You’, NYC’s George Vala gives tribalism a dose of snap crackle and pop. Devilishly sweet soul vocals from Tunde Olaniran calm the percussive kinks that wrap themselves around an eight minute long deep house storm. ‘Colorful’ keeps up the pressure and shadows the A-side closely with Vala toughing it out with jazz-flecked, tightly compacted, body-to-body grooving. A gripping remix from Berlin’s Channel X has Mirko and André Quasar adding to the original’s palette with long, powerful bass steps that tower over dancefloors for miles around.
The EP is already supported by the likes of Matthias Tanzmann, Stacey Pullen, Paco Osuna, Christian Smith, Adam Beyer, Popof and Sasha.
