With over 20 years combined experience in the underground music scene, the DnB duo shows they are not here to follow the rules – THEY ARE THE RULE BREAKERS. A collaboration born from their contrasting artistry, Obsidian Cane and Gizella continue to push their love for Drum N Bass firmly back on the map – where it rightly deserves to be – with fresh and dynamically unique tones that are incomparable and unapologetically their own.

Obsidian Cane has produced music for artists signed to Warner Bros, EMI, Parlophone, Channel 4, BBC1 and BBC2. In addition to his impressive CV, he also scored a club hit, ‘I Need A Rhythm’ as UKG duo KP. With such credentials, the London producer steps confidently into the role of adding a sweet lick of far Eastern-esque melodies to the fast-paced yet subdued groove, creating an easy cruising fusion of Drum N Bass and Jungle.

Obsidian Cane lays down the perfect platform for Gizella’s vocals to playfully weave into the summery vibes, depicting a life of a hopeless romantic. Debuting on Gotcha! Records in 1998 with the vinyl release of ‘Express Yourself,’ Gizella has earned the title as the vocal chameleon in London’s underground scene, after gracing her spell-binding vocals across various genres, including Hip Hop, EDM, Drum N Bass, and Dubstep as well as collaborating with a string of artists including Korostyle, Juleunique, Mizimo, Experimental Feelings and Ronny Becher.

‘Addicted’ adds to Obsidian Cane and Gizella’s burgeoning collaboration and follows their well-received singles, ‘Never Change’ and ‘Crazy World’, which received raving reviews from the likes of EDM Magazine, Playy Magazine and EDM All Day – Obsidian Cane was widely praised for his production prowess for both releases, whereas Gizella vocal performance was compared to the likes of Björk by A&R Factory for ‘Never Change’.
