Get Physical look ahead to the upcoming Miami music conference with a new compilation, Miami 2017, put together by Daniel Dubb and M.O.N.R.O.E.. Mixing and compiling this exclusive 11 track compilation, the pair showcase a stellar selection of house music across a sizzling 60 minute mix.
Daniel Dubb is a Canadian with credits on labels like DV8, Rejected and Area Remote, while American M.O.N.R.O.E. has ties with labels like vIVA Music as well as appearing on Get Physical and its acclaimed radio show. The pair behind the mix also link up for an electrifying edit of ‘NSEW’ by Sound Process and Andrew McDonnell that shows off their love of clean and classic house.
Elsewhere, the track list is as diverse as it is brilliant, ranging from the driving percussive rumble and airy atmosphere of the first track, John Aquaviva and M.O.N.R.O.E’s own work ‘Alligator Skin’ to the bouncy synths of Casah’s ’About Yourself.’ Along the way, Daniel Dubb includes a few of his own works and his smooth blend of melody and rhythm; of thick atmospheres and gentle keys give tracks like ‘Badmon’ and ‘Real Smooth’ a warm and natural feel.
Artists such as Jonathan Rosa, Zohki & Mario da Ragnio feat. De Vanna and Lorenzo Bartoletti & Alexis Cabrera also get called on along the way. Their tracks add more bubbly tribal drums and carefree house grooves to the overall picture and ensure the feel good vibes never leave the mix.
