BOOSTEDKIDS & Blasterjaxx - Get Ready!

Going from a folkloristic break that has the sound of the traditional Scottish bagpipe to a bigroom drop that combines a huge kick with some powerful  leads, ‘Get Ready!’ is ready to hit all festival crowds! The track is already supported by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto, Nicky Romero, R3hab, W&W, VINAI, Bassjackers, MAKJ and many others.
 
Both duo's have been active as DJ and producer for a while now. The two young Italian DJs and producers Dany Spada (Daniele Spada) and Frankinelli (Francesco Chinelli), who form BOOSTEDKIDS, have been collaborating with artists like Crystal Waters, Tasita d’Mour, Bob Sinclar, Nari & Milani and Pitbull between 2011 and 2012. In the year 2013 they decided to create a new project which would be concentrated exclusively on EDM, this project took the name of BOOSTEDKIDS. While Blasterjaxx’ Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf – both Dutch – had different music projects throughout their teenage and young adult years – Thom produced under the name Scalix and Idir was called Macosta. In 2012 Thom and Idir joined forces and turned their dream into a reality.
 
For both BOOSTEDKIDS as well as Blasterjaxx, their big breakthrough came in 2013. For the Italian duo this happened when they collaborated with the ‘Kings’ of Tomorrowland, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on the track ‘G.I.P.S.Y.’ The collaboration was included in the Official Tomorrowland Aftermovie 2013 which counts more than 80 millions views. ‘G.I.P.S.Y.’ reached quickly the Beatport Top 10 Main Chart and is supported by big names like Hardwell, Nervo, Sander Van Doorn, R3hab, Tujamo and many others.
 
For the two Dutchmen it was when Tiësto picked up their song 'Loud and Proud' and released it on his label, Musical Freedom. Tiësto’s approval served as a pivotal point in their music careers. It led to the opportunity to do an official remix for Tiësto’s world renowned trance hit 'Adagio for Strings', and later a collaboration with him on a remix for Ultra Music Festival’s 'United' 2013 anthem. Their single 'Faith' charted in the Netherlands and Sweden that same year.
 
Fast forward to 2016, it’s now time for a collaboration between BOOSTEDKIDS and Blasterjaxx with new single ‘Get Ready!’, out now on Maxximize.
