GHEIST Return To Embassy One With ‘Who I Am’ EP

German trio GHEIST stands out as one of the most exciting live acts in the international electronic music circuit, continuing to build upon their impeccable back catalogue with each passing release. Having inaugurated their new Who I Am EP with a pair of single releases – Shine Again and I Am Human – in August and September, the extraordinary Berlin-based outfit now unveils the complete extended player with their important title track, Who I Am.

Out now, the brand new three-track offering lands on the German imprint Embassy One and follows the remarkable success of their in February-released Gravity EP, which was succeeded by an extensive international live tour of the same name. Featuring three stunning originals, GHEIST’s Who I Am EP is another masterclass in forward-thinking melodic techno and vocal electronica that once again showcases the band’s inexhaustible studio talent and creative artistry.

GHEIST’s latest multi-tracker opens with the never-before-heard title track Who I Am. Presenting organic percussive elements and dainty synth riffs, the trio pulls the focus to their exquisite and wholly original vocal piece, a thought-provoking gem conducive to tranquillity and peace.

Moving onto the middle order is the EP´s second track I Am Human, which enjoyed its initial release in September. Deeply emotive in its effect, the trio lays down a foundation of nostalgia-inducing synth work and serene soundscapes that thrill and calm in equal measures. considered and impactful, the cut is a blissful addition to this latest trilogy, reinforcing the remarkable tone and timbre of the German collective.

Finally, and rounding out the EP in emphatic fashion, is the in August-released single Shine Again, which was an instant hit with the fans, peers, and industry figures alike. A popular feature within their most recent live shows, the cut proves equally worthy for main stages and at-home listening, a firm favorite for any chill-out playlist.

Prior to their affinity with esteemed Berlin-based record label Embassy One, the fast-rising trio enjoyed countless stand-out releases on some of the scene’s most established imprints, including Diynamic, Last Night On Earth, as well as their own label RADAU. Fostering a discography of refined, cutting-edge works, GHEIST has cemented itself as one of the most authentic and prosperous acts on the circuit, with the scope to enter into the upper echelons of dance music.
